Workshop Leak Testing

Our workshop – leak testing – is for everybody who plans to introduce or improve leak testing in production lines.

After an introduction in leak testing basics you will get an overview about the most common methods and their applications. The practical part covers calculations of leak rates and experiments with different leak testing devices.

Location: 66450 Bexbach, Germany
or at your facility (reduced practical part, quote upon request)
Dates:  additional dates on demand
Number of participants: 4 – 8 persons
Duration:  one or two days
Costs:  1-day workshop: 790,-€/Per.
2-day workshop: 1.290,-€/Per.
Customer discount on demand
Included: workshop documents on CD/USB-stick
• easy-to-use Excel spread sheets for calculation and
  conversion of leak rates
• lunch, soft drinks

Workshop agenda

Leak testing basics:
• Definition of leak and leak rate
• How to specify a leak rate
• Calculation of leak rates (with examples)
• Conversion of leak rates (with examples)

Most common leak testing methods in production and some more:
• Water bath bubble test
• Pressure / pressure difference / mass flow
• Helium with vacuum chamber
• Helium at atmosphere
• Testing with Hydrogen
• Ultrasonic bubble detection for leak testing
• Some more methods like LFC, VR

Major component of the workshop: Experiments with our test stations
Leak testers in production lines are faced with various environmental effects. Test by yourself how these effects (temperature, volume, etc.) affect the different leak test methods.

Further topics:
• Decision making for a test method
• Measurement of leak rates
• Test leaks

We are able to adapt the topics and major components of our workshop to your individual needs.
